To be well-dressed for every occasion, there are some essential fashion staples that just have to be in your wardrobe. That way, you will always be etiquette-ready for dinner parties, business meetings, and formal galas. Because, between you and me, there is nothing more disappointing than looking for a particular clothing item that you are dying to wear and immediately realizing that you don’t own it.
Much to our delight, we were able to catch up with Wendy Tee, a London-based art director, to give us her opinion on which of our clothing items she considers to be her top fashion must-haves. We loved hearing her thoughts as she has been involved with brands such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Net-a-Porter, and Space NK. It was definitely a catch, wouldn’t you agree?

Q- Wendy, tell us a little bit about your personal style and what you love most about Gomez-Gracia
W- My style is very laid-back, mostly in monochrome. There is always an element of comfort in my dressing, with an appreciation for craftsmanship and subtle details. What I really love about Gomez-Gracia is that it is a high-wattage luxury fashion label that stands out for its unbashful sexy take on female power dressing.
Q- We are dying to know what are your top three Gomez-Gracia’s must-haves and why
W- Hmm, let me think. It’s a bit hard to pick only three out of so many wonderful choices. But, if I only have to pick three I will go with the washable suede or stretch leather leggings, the base mask with the confetti fashion cover, and the Pompidou jumpsuit.
The reason why I chose the stretch leather leggings in the first place is that they are a staple of my wardrobe, and these chic versions will elevate my existing basics for day and night. With masks being an integral part of life these days, the versatility of the GG base mask allows me to use it simply on its own, and also customize with a fashion cover for a fun addition to my look. And lastly, the Pompidou jumpsuit is an easy item to simply throw on that instantly makes me look polished and ready for a date night.
Q- Did you notice any changes in trends due to Covid-19?
W- That’s a great question. "Workleisure" is a current category that I am embracing wholeheartedly - it sounds more comfortable and creative than "business casual", and it sums up my life where work and leisure can sometimes overlap each other.
Q- Very briefly: How did you get into fashion?
W- I studied a Bachelor of Design (majoring in Graphics & Media) in Australia and I was lucky to get my start in the industry at Harper's Bazaar magazine, which then led me to pursue my career further in London over a decade ago.
